In order for everyone to understand the difference between the traits of high oleic acid rape and ordinary rape and the details of field management more intuitively,On February 23, 18 cadres and employees of the Planning and Development Research Institute, led by Dean Bao Lilin, drove to the Qianliang Lake High Oleic Rape Demonstration Base for field visits and studies.
The planting base is located in Liangxin Bao Town, Qianliang Lake, in the west of Junshan District, near Dongting, near the Yangtze River, with flat terrain and fertile soil. It is rich in cotton, rice, pigs, fish, poultry and green food."Dongting Pearl" and "the first town of Sanxiang" reputation. The construction of the base has also received strong support from the local town government and agricultural department planting experts. The planting varieties of Daandaoquan Qianlianghu Demonstration Base are 80 series, the growth period is 215 days, and the farming method is machine sowing/sowing. At present, the growth is good and it is in the initial flowering stage.
After arriving at the destination, under the leadership of local agrotechnical experts, everyone walked into the field. While enjoying the scenery, they carefully compared the difference between high-oleic rapeseed plants and ordinary rapeseed planted by local farmers, especially the difference from spicy rapeseed seedlings. High oleic acid rape plants are tall and straight, with thick and round leaves, blue and white in overall color, and generally the first branch is high.35-40cm. High oleic acid rape is a treasure all over, moss can be eaten in vegetables, flowers can be watched, seeds can be pressed for oil, but secondary seedlings will cause powder channeling, affecting purity and oil content. President Bao Lilin suggested that while pulling out the secondary seedlings in the field, we should pick some vegetable moss in the place where the plants are dense and go back to taste it. So we all went into the field to "work hard", pulling out the secondary seedlings and picking the vegetable moss, forming a beautiful painting of field work.
President Bao Lilin said that the construction of high oleic acid industry chain is the company's key strategic plan, and the construction of rape base is the main way to solve the restriction of raw materials of the company. Who can master the seedThe "neck sticking" technology and the cultivation technology of controlling high oleic acid rape can guide the industrial chain of high oleic acid rape, so as to realize the upgrading of vegetable oil and solve the problem of edible oil supply in China.
